Lawn Renovation
Is your lawn looking a little tired or worn out? If you're ready to renovate your lawn, reach out to the experts at The Lawn Rangers, Inc. We thoroughly analyze your lawn then make recommendations for aeration, over seeding, slit seeding, or a complete renovation. Renovations include, killing existing vegetation, we then deliver and spread new topsoil, grade and lay sod or broadcast seed.
New Lawn Installation
We recommend a minimum of 4" topsoil for new lawns. We offer three options for new lawns: sod, hydroseed, or broadcast seeding.
We bring in the new topsoil and use a mini skid steer to spread it. We then go over the soil with a soil pulverizer to establish a final grade.
Various Methods That We Use
Lawn Aeration: The aerators create holes in the lawn and extract the topsoil cores. Following aeration and seed broadcasting, the seeds settle into these holes, ensuring excellent seed-to-soil contact.
Lawn Slit Seeding: The machine slits the lawn and simultaneously drops in the seeds.
Lawn Power Raking: This service is recommended either early spring or fall. We use two different machines:
Spring-tine power rakes - gentler on lawns. Removes dead grass, debris, moss and matted grass.
Steel tine blade power rakes - we use this machine to do a more aggressive raking. Best when combined with aeration and over-seeding.
