Transforming Your Lawn

We thoroughly analyze your lawn and then prep for aeration, over seeding, slit seeding, or a complete renovation. Renovations include killing of undesirable grass and weeds. We then bring in the new soil and then lay the sod or broadcast the seeds.

New Lawn Installation

We recommend a minimum of 2" to 4" topsoil for new lawns. We offer three options for new lawns: sod, hydroseed, or broadcasting seed. 

We bring in the new topsoil and use a mini skid steer to spread it. We then go over the soil with a soil pulverizer to rough grade. The final grading is then done by hand raking with 3-4 rakes as per the need.

Various Methods That We Use

• Lawn Aeration: the aerators poke holes in the lawn and then pull up the topsoil cores all over the lawn. After the aeration and seed broadcasting, the seeds fall into these holes, leading to great seed and soil contact.
• Lawn Slit Seeding: the machine slits the lawn and simultaneously drops in the seeds.
• Lawn Power Raking: this service is recommended either early spring or during the fall. We use two different machines:
• Spring-tine power rakes - gentler on lawns. Removes dead grass, debris, moss and matted grass.
• Steel tine blade power rakes - we use this machine to do a more aggressive raking. Best when combined with aeration and over-seeding.
